Sunday Jan 02, 2022

Scripture: John 20:21
Our Christmas series concludes today on a high note as we consider the truth that we have been sent, just like our Lord Jesus was sent. Jesus was sent to do the Father’s will by speaking His words and doing His works. In the same vein, we have been sent to do our Savior’s will by speaking His words and doing His works. This is what God wants for us today.

Scripture: 1 Timothy 3:16a
What is Christmas truly about? It is about the birth of the second Person of the Trinity—the incarnation of God. Incarnation is one of the most familiar doctrines among believers and yet also one of the most misunderstood ones. Tonight, we will explore what the incarnation of God means and does not mean and then contemplate on its theological and practical implications.

Sunday Dec 12, 2021
Speaker: Matthew Walker
Scripture: John 14:9
One of the most startling facts from the life of Jesus is that He claimed everything about Him was the result of the Father’s work. His life and ministry pointed people to the Father and His death and resurrection are the reason we can come to the Father. He was clear in His declaration to Philip: “Whoever has seen Me, has seen the Father.”

Series: How to Study the Bible Effectively
We continue our series on How to Study the Bible Effectively by looking at a historical narrative section of the Old Testament. Many people believe that narrative is the easiest part of the Bible to interpret, but there are pitfalls that can really trip up people who read these stories.

Speaker: Matthew Walker
Scripture: Isaiah 55
Today we will introduce our church memory verses for 2022. Isaiah 55 is one of the most important texts in the entire Bible; some of the most precious thoughts ever written down are there. The overall meaning of the chapter is the universal call to salvation that God makes to the world. As great as this call is, it does have one condition—come. Those who are spiritually hungry and thirsty only need to come and God will give them a rich bounty that eternally satisfies.
